Originally founded by Naomi Friedman in 2001, Sickday is a hybrid for-profit/non-profit company whose mission is to re-establish house calls as an integral part of the nation’s healthcare system. After ten years working in hospitals and physician offices, Naomi founded Sickday to spend more time with her patients. The response indicated many patients crave the return of the house-call model as an alternative for acute and episodic care.
