Sickday provides the comfort and relief of same-day access to acute or episodic medical care for patients who are unable – or unwilling – to go without care, wait days for an office visit or hours for emergency room care. Sickday is ideal for the uninsured, travelers, or for anyone too busy or too sick to get to the doctor’s office.
Sickday patients receive same-day medical attention for a wide range of common conditions. Our physician associates spend 30-40 minutes with each patient.

SERVICES:
- Service operates seven days a week, 6:00am - 11:00pm
- Comprehensive medical histories and diagnostic exams
- Medications prescribed and/or prescriptions renewed
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests and x-rays
- Affiliations with major hospitals and referrals to healthcare specialists
- Phone follow-ups after every visit
- Follow-up visits as needed

COMPANY BACKGROUND
Sickday is a socially responsible medical house call company focused on acute, urgent care. Originally founded by Naomi Friedman in 2001, Sickday is a hybrid for-profit/non-profit company whose mission is to re-establish house calls as an integral part of the nation’s healthcare system. After ten years working in hospitals and physician offices, Naomi founded Sickday to spend more time with her patients. The response indicated many patients crave the return of the house-call model as an alternative for acute and episodic care.

ABOUT PHYSICIAN ASSOCIATES
Physician Associates are licensed medical practitioners, trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat illnesses using the same medical model as physicians. A Physician Associate provides a wide range of physician procedures and services, including prescribing medications.

PAs practice medicine with the supervision of a licensed physician and are held to the same medical practice and patient care standards as are physicians. The physician is always available for consultation if necessary.
