Sickday LLC has put together a network of independent licensed physicians and physicians associates (PAs) committed to providing medical house calls at homes, offices, and hotels. Upon request, PAs (working with the supervision of licensed physicians), will provide house calls to diagnose and treat the client’s medical conditions. The PA will personally meet with each client to assess their situation and his/her supervising physician will be available for telephone consultation on an “as needed” basis. The medical practitioners can also refer the clients to other medical providers or facilities as they deem necessary and appropriate.

Sickday LLC DOES NOT itself provide any medical services but rather facilitates the provision of those services at the site requested by the client. Our goal is to put the client in touch with licensed medical practitioner in your area who will visit you on site and to further insure the client receives prompt medical attention from them.

Our commitment is to verify that all medical practitioners who are part of the network are duly licensed to act in the medical field within the state where the services are provided and are available to address the client’s medical needs. However, each medical professional acts independently with respect to specific medical diagnosis and treatments and is solely responsible for same. Since Sickday LLC is not a licensed medical provider, Sickday LLC does not supervise, rate or review the medical care provided by professionals within the network and all medical decisions made by these practitiioners are their exclusive decisions.

Sickday LLC is not authorized and does not conduct any medical exams, does not diagnose medical conditions and does not prescribe medical treatments. No representative of Sickday LLC will be present at the time the medical services are rendered and Sickday LLC therefore can take no responsibility for any medical diagnosis, decisions, treatments provided, prescribed or withheld or any medications prescribed or administered.

Sickday may not have available services in your location and our pricing information may vary from one location to another.

EMERGENCY CARE

Sickday LLC is not an emergency care provider nor a substitute for emergency care. If there is any indication – even a small indication - that an emergency medical situation exists or may arise, immediate contact should be made through 911 or other appropriate means for emergency medical care.

Although the network of practitioners is community based, a reasonable period of time must be allotted for them to arrive at the patient’s site. If a person’s medical condition appears to be seriously declining or become in jeopardy while waiting for the Sickday network provider to arrive, call 911 and get immediate emergency medical care.

PRIVACY POLICY

You can access our home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data.

Your personal information, which includes your name, address and any other details you provide to us which concern you as an individual, may be processed by both us and our webmaster, in accordance with this privacy policy.

We will use your information for the purpose of facilitating the provision of the services you have requested, processing any other transactions authorized or made by you with us, informing you of our events and providing other marketing and/or legal information to you which we think you may find of interest and undertaking product or client research/development.

We undertake not to provide your personal information to third parties save in accordance with this policy.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sickday has no knowledge and is not privy to any information the client provides to the licensed professionals within the network. Any medical information furnished to your treating professional is in such professional’s sole possession and knowledge. As licensed medical practitioners, they have undertaken to keep such information confidential consistent with applicable professional standards, laws, rules and regulations. However, Sickday LLC shall have no liability in the event such information is disclosed or otherwise misappropriated, whether inadvertently or intentionally by the medical professional.

FORCE MAJEURE

Each member of the network is an independent medical provider. Although Sickday LLC endeavors to insure that its network providers provide prompt and timely services, each provider operates according to its own guidelines and procedures. Accordingly, Sickday cannot be responsible for disruptions in service or untimely service when same is caused by the network provider.

In the event that any service may not be performed because of an event of Force Majeure, Sickday shall have the right to suspend the performance of such services or to cancel them without penalty. Force Majeure shall include strike, lockout, and other labor relation issues; inability to obtain necessary supplies, material, and equipment to effectuate the services; traffic and transportation disruptions; riots and civil disturbances; acts of terrorism, natural disasters, fires; thefts; government suspensions and prohibitions; and all other matters beyond the control of sickday.

All website design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof are the property of sickday.

Except as expressly authorized by us you may not reproduce, modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, mirror, frame, republish, download, transmit, or create derivative works of any contents on this website, in whole or in part, by any means.

GOVERNING LAW

This website is intended for use by U.S. residents only and only in relation to their activities within the U.S.

Any claim against Sickday LLC arising from or related to the use of the network services shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, U.S. and for our benefit, by using such service, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York for resolution of any dispute arising therefrom.
